While searching for Ozzie’s “Let Me Hear You Scream” promo video where he hangs out in Madame Toussaud’s Wax Museum acting like a wax statue and then scares people (the concept sounds a lot better than the video itself, I would have posted, but I try not to waste your time) – I find an add for “Sade’s New Album” dropping… later.

So what’s the deal? Two things I learned:

1. Sade is more than one person (4 in fact)
2. Sade, and the 4 band members, is/are in fact not dead, not happily married or not lining up to be on Celebrity Rehab. (how much do you think they would pay the ‘bassist from Sade’ to appear on the show? Just wondering.)

So, who’s waiting in line… later… for when Sade’s new album drops? Sandy? I know you have their previous efforts, you gonna add this to your collection?

For two weeks every summer, the sleepy town of San Diego becomes the center of the geek universe.

Movie studios hawk their tentpole films for the following summer. Video game companies show off their big games for the holiday season. TV studios give fans unprecedented acess to their favorite stars.

Other sites will keep you in the know with the latest gossip, the color of Hayden Panitierre’s underwear, and other such things.

Not here.

Sandy and Steve had an inspiration for coverage befitting Chicago’s favorite comedy group. Sandy wanted someone who would be able to find one of Hollywood’s greatest actors and ask the tough questions.

So, they called in a convention vet who has the contacts and insider knowledge to get the job done. That’s me, James Alsup

Comic-Con 2009: The Search for Marc Singer.

You may remember Andrew DeWitt from such events as – The Schadenfreude Rent Party Tour. And… Uh… Oh yeah! He did some awesome stand-up here in Chicago with Chicago Underground Comedy (or ChUC as they like to call it). And lest we forget, he’s the guy who’s responsible for Sandy dropping cash like it’s hot to get him and his bro to look like Luke and Han from “Empire Strikes Back”. Or the one where Sandy and his bro are Drake and Hicks from “Aliens”. OR the one where Sandy is Mike Donovan from “V”. Regardless, you know his work – onstage and off. He moved out to LA, and here he is in his first paid appearance schilling a product. I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna go get some A1!
