Sure, it may be an update to “Running Man” (another in a long list of movies that, if caught while flipping channels, I will stop and watch until completion. Doesn’t matter if it’s 3 minutes in, or 76 minutes in. I will watch until Ben Richards walks off, putting the trademark Arnie cigar in the mouth) – but damn if it doesn’t look like fun.

Shit blows up. There’s some kind of weird “sex/SecondLife” sub-plot as well… And there’s jazz hands that control other people. All the elements necessary for making a kick-ass movie.

I’ll let you know how it is next week, but suffice to say, it’s awesome.

“All your base are belong to us” (often shortened to “All Your Base”, “AYBABTU”, or simply “AYB”) is a broken English phrase that was central to an Internet phenomenon, or meme, in 2000-2002, with the spread of a Flash animation that depicted the slogan. The text is taken from the opening cut scene of the European Sega Mega Drive version of the video game Zero Wing, a Japanese video game by Toaplan which was poorly translated.

I’m sure there aren’t a lot of you out there that actually watch the G4 channel. It’s completely a geek channel in ways that not even Adam or Sandy can comprehend. They talk about video games (I still think Sandy has never played a game of “Tetris” in his life), they talk about… video games and sometimes they mention the superhero movie or two.

Olivia Munn is what got me watching ANY show on G4 to begin with. It began with her licking an Apple TV. Yes, licking. She’s the first hot-geek girl to lick a product at CES. And a million pants exploded when that shot went out on the web.

In addition, she’s not afraid to put on a bikini, pretend to be Wonder Woman, slave-outfit Princess Leia or even Chun-Li from Street Fighter.

She’s a geek’s girl. She’s got a killer body. She’s got a sense of humor. She knows what a VPN connection is.

Hawt. Oh, and Happy Memorial Day Weekend.

A pizza place in my neighborhood just installed Tempest. The spin-knob controller is full of torque but I’m going to use up a roll of quarters on Saturday so I can get used to it. What are you up to?
