Third time’s a charm for this sack of crap.

“He’s keeping and eye on things.” is actually a quote from a book I’m reading about becoming a dog psychic.

I started drawing a dog but it kinda sucked and then it turned into the nose you see here.

In comparing this to his other incarnations, one might conclude that this is the creepy guy’s uncle or older cousin. This was what I first thought when I saw him. Subsequent appearances will unfortunately demonstrate otherwise.

Silver lining: I am on the final pages of this moleskine and can confirm that this mongrel’s story is coming to a just conclusion.

So here’s this jerk’s second appearance in my sketchbook. This one showed up a few weeks after the first drawing.

I didn’t think it was the same guy at first because he’s a little heavier, a little more alert and has a fuller head of hair. But the eyes sort of give it away. I’m guessing he’s had some sort of makeover in an attempt to get in my good graces. Nice try, jerk!
