Have you been keeping up with this? Letterman makes a Palin/daughter joke, an audience laughed, a country cried, Palin goes on the news to say that she doesn’t like Letterman implying that her daughter was raped, Letterman retorts with yet another joke…. And now, he backs down.

Why does this woman keep getting press? Didn’t we find out during the election that she’s an idiot? Hadn’t the Republican Party already defined HER as the reason why McCain lost the election? Hadn’t we just stopped listening to her? Well, this just confirms – I’m done with Late Night talk show television. I honestly can’t think of anytime Howard has apologized for a joke, and he has insinuated waaaaay more than Letterman ever has…

What the difference is between Gatorade, Gatorade Frost, Gatorade Extreme, Gatorade Tiger, Gatorade Rain, and Gatorade Fierce? Remember how they had those three flavors for like fifty years, as if it was simply impossible to flavor Gatorade something other than Green, Orange, or Red flavored. And then one day they came out with Grape and everyone was like, “way to go, the Space Shuttle has finally made that possible.” And then they came out with 85 more flavors, going so far as to name them after emotions once they had run out of fruits. They do realize they’re dealing in artificially created sweat, don’t they?

You do realize that everything you have is a generic version of something else out in the world, don’t you? It’s silly to tell me that I’m REALLY going to like Trader Joe’s brand Mini Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, unless you assume that I’ve actually never had a Reese’s cup.
