So the stock market goes down and Schad goes up? Hilariously, our “Surviving the New Depression” series has been picked up by national blogs recently due to the surge in economic uncertainty. Hey, if you lose your retirement fund, at least you can be delighted in the fact that we are making fun of it so quickly. Am I right on this one?

Oh man, so an actress who played a Golden Girl actually got old and died. This is pretty sad because Estelle was a very funny lady with a very funny character on Golden Girls. Was she also in Mannequin? or something like that? Last year we did a show at Chicago Improv Festival covering our favorite comedy sketches. We did a whole montage of Golden Girl one-liners. Starting next week, Schad’s playing at the city of Chicago’s venerable Theater on the Lake! Wednesday through Sunday, shows at 7.30 (6.30 on Sunday). Come on out! Our good friends Ed Bus and Christopher Kriss visited the venue to make sure that the producers weren’t kidding about the size of the stage . . . or the Twizzlers. See ya there!
