And allow ABC to pick this up again in 18 months with a brand new cast. That last one is intriguing…

Seriously. Dead in the final episode - only to have a "or is he?" moment at the end. If he is the "new Jacob" then he'll be like Obi-Wan Kenobi (I mean old Ben Kenobi) - "Dead" yes, but more powerful because of it. I think Jack dies. Seriously.
