Five years ago Steve Delahoyde introduced me to The Room, making him incredibly hip and way ahead of the curve. When I moved to L.A. I went to see it at Midnight in a packed theatre feeling I was way behind the curve. Now the movie is shown in four theatres and you have to show up an hour and a half early to get into one of those theatres. It’s worth it, but I liked it back when I thought it had gone commercial, before it went commercial. Anywho, for those unfamiliar with The Room, here’s a good taste of everything that’s good about it. And here. If you’re into cult movies, give it a shot, if not, then skip this link to a site that had an awesome idea. The Room trading cards. And for fans and Jessi, isn’t The Room, the greatest most generic title you can give a bad movie? It’s really just a fine fine icing on the ultimate turd cake.
