What you didn't report is that the 30 senators MUST have a reasonable explanation that benefits national security and the Patriot Act (and no fair distracting us from Obama's Peace Prize or Harry Connick Jr's meeting with Blackface performers on Australian TV!)Perhaps the the bill also included wording that stipulated that any said defense contracts that were signed had to be signed in "black or blue ink to insure quality of signatures and to facilitate efficiency in digital storage and archiving of said agreements." This obviously is a slap in the face for USA companies that manufacture red, green or invisible inks. The 30 Senators may not have been supporting rape (as you postulate), but instead may have been supporting American (tax paying) small businesses - and ink.There.
