The Fargo cast would show up in Armageddon and Con Air as well.Volcano was so bad I abandoned a planned double feature at the now defunct theatre on Ohio. I was too depressed to go on. It was seriously everything wrong with 90's movies.I would see The Core. It seems like "that movie." That was the summer of all the indie guys from the previous year being in big budget movies. He was also the warden in the underwater prison warden in "Face/Off." I saw this movie in Oxford, Oh at the Princess Theater, an Adam Witt haunt back in the college days. During the scene where the guy is rescuing the passenger from the LA subway car and the lava is melting everything, the rescuer jumps INTO to lava to toss the victim to safety. Over the next couple of seconds he MELTS down into the lava. And I was laughing so hard I was asked to leave. It's go the best parts of a Disaster Flick, the Ludicrous Sci-Fi That Kinda Almost Makes Sense Flick, and the Group of People Who Don't Get Along Teaming Up To Save The World Flick.It's got just the right amount of humor, and takes itself just seriously enough.
