Formed in 1997, Schad began performing sketch comedy on Chicago’s north side. Now, THAT is some clever writing.
Why do I get the feeling that the jingle writers came up with about 40 verses to this song? They probably were so elated – “Best. . project. . . ever”
On YouTube there are some comments about this being incredibly racist — in that the Asian woman is trimming a bonsai tree and laughing demurely, while the African British woman is using a huge chainsaw/hedge trimmer and going nuts… Interesting.
All I know is that the cat at the beginning has a bunch of hair and then it doesn’t at the end. CLEVER.
I bet the ad team (JWT NY) all brought their 7th grade sons into work the day they wrote this.
