I often saw the late great WW at the Roscoe Village Kinkos on Western. He would sit by what is now the FedEx counter, sketching the Chicago skyline on a giant sketchpad. Yes, it'd be a fine tribute to a man who's songs stretched as long as the Sears Tower, and were always built with the same simple structure.And his presence would be felt from day to day. To ward off planes, there'd be a speaker at the tower top blasting "ROCK AND ROLL MC DON-ALDS!!! ROCK AND ROLL MC DON-ALDS!!!" At every entrance, you're greeted with WW saying "Rock On, Chicago! (Rock Over London)," followed by the latest corporate sponsorship, probably in a WW soundalike's voice to keep it fresh ("Staples. That was easy."). Casios would provide the elevator music on the ride up. Oversized security guards would headbutt you on the way out.Makes perfect sense to me.
