It’s gone, MacReady!

I can’t remember if I posted this or not, but I thank Connor for sending the link a couple of months ago, I’ve watched this video numerous times and it’s nestled in my top 5 of all time. Right up there with “Hysteria” and “Invisible Touch.” Huge kudos to Zombie Zombie for executing such a brilliant idea. “Watch Clark . . . and watch him good . . . “

that’s awesome. I must have watched that movie 50 times on cable as a kid.

  3. Trying to break down the math of why I love this video so so so so so so so so so so so so much:

Action figures + Techno music + The Thing + Snow = green light.

Fred, did we ever see some of that War Machine stuff? Is that the home movie stuff you guys did?

gotta share. excuse me for a moment…

the worst theatrical production I’ve ever been in in my entire life was a production of “Who Goes There” (the short story upon which “The Thing” is based.) at the old Organic theatre. This was when the Organic was at the height of their sci-fi craze; they had just closed some long-running Clive Barker hit.

If there is anyone out there who will admit to having seen this production, I’ll have to murder you.

This video is vastly more entertaining, for so many reasons, than that production.

I played the Wilford Brimley role.

    “Watch Clark,” indeed!

  5. Riddy played the Wilford Brimley role? I need to see this on tape. Too good.

Adam has the original War Machine’s somewhere. Which ones have you seen? So far, we had filmed:

    War Machine Vs. the Joggers
    War Machine Vs. the Dinosaur
    War Machine Vs. the Zombie
    War Machine Goes to Hell

The last one really isn’t done, but Adam edited a good trailer for it.
