Steve Delahoyde and Kate James were nominated this week by the Midwest Film Festival Awards for their outstanding work in “Kid” from the Regrets short film series! The short is up for “Best Short” and Steve Delahoyde is up for “Best Editing”. But the best part? Kate James is up for “Best Actress” against Virginia Madsen and Jenna Fischer!!! How cool is that? Now the way the Midwest Film Festival works is that they let you (partially) decide the winner on-line. So go and vote for Steve and Kate! And then go to Rockit in early December to see Kate make her speech. Hey, grassroots worked for Obama. Let’s work it for Kate, ey? Here’s the trailer that includes all the nominees! GREAT!

Way to go, Kate and Steve!
Thank you, Mr. Smith! I know Steve and I can count on your vote. Now, if you’ll go out and knock on a few doors for me, talk to you neighbors about voting, I am confident that Steve and I can deliver the change that the Midwest Film Festival Awards so desperately needs!
That is so awesome!! Congrats!
I voted for you guys~ Good luck. LOL go Emmett!
Thanks, guys! Together, with your vote, we might be able to show Hollywood that all you need is Chicago… with a few Hollywood starts sprinkled in…
