Powell Endorses Stone!

I applaud Colin Powell for coming forward on Meet the Press this weekend and endorsing Oliver Stone.  Long have I wondered, which Fall movie blockbuster will Powell side with.  I’ll admit that I assumed that Powell was set to endorse “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist” — but I spoke too soon.  Shame on me, for assuming that I knew what was in Powell’s heart.  Also, I was offended when Brokaw asked Powell if he’s siding with Stone just because they have the same beautiful olive coloring.  That’s not the issue.  Not the issue at all.  Powell’s endorsement gave a temporary boost to the weekend polls, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to push Stone over the top — “Beverly Hill’s Chihuahua” is still leading in the “Pro-America” pockets of U.S.

Whoever picked Batman won. I can’t believe I picked WALL-E. How could I pick against three superheroes? (Indy, Batman, Ironman).
