Formed in 1997, Schad began performing sketch comedy on Chicago’s north side. The troupe has since performed at countless venues around the world including The Goodman Theatre, The Second City, Steppenwolf, Lollapalooza, ImprovOlympic, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (LA), HERE (NYC) and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

All these Krugs are pretty good, but this one is my favorite by far! If you dig these kind of nominally-prog grooves with swarthy Euro-dominance in the vocal, definitely gotta recommend checking out France’s Albert Marcoeur (weirder, but frequently brilliant) and Italy’s own Franco Battiato (early ’70s stuff especially!).
