@Lee Ann: The film is Idiocracy. Written and directed by Mike Judge (Office Space, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead).
Logline: An average-joe army officer and prostitute accidentally put into suspended animation for 1000 years and wake up in a world where they are the smartest people on earth.
Backstory because I’m a geek: After Office Space was totally mishandled and still went on to make truckloads on DVD, this film was apparently the studio’s effort to make peace with Judge by giving him a bigger budget and being more hands off. They took the hands off approach too far, though. The film sat on the shelf for two years before being released for one week in 6 theaters. Check it out.

The fact that there is practically a GLUT of “Ow My Balls!” shows on the summer schedule on all major networks (not including the Olympics) makes me think of this movie constantly.

such a brilliant film… maybe even better than office space… the studios sure know how to screw Mike Judge.

I mostly only remember quotes from the doctor:
