Finally saw The Dark Knight this weekend on Saturday with Stephe at a sold-out theater, AMC downtown, on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. I’ve been trying to remember the last time I’ve heard of a movie resonating so much with such a wide audience base. I’m not sure. Fellowship of the Ring, maybe? I remember when that came out, and that’s an absolutely perfect movie, that everyone was talking about it. I saw Dark Knight a week into it’s run, which is unusual for me, I’m usually there on opening night. Been hearing all of this hype for a week. And it’s true. Adam called it best, it’s like seeing T2 for the first time. And I know I’m writing this at a time when telling you to see it is now redundant, so I won’t. Even though I know you will.
Formed in 1997, Schad began performing sketch comedy on Chicago’s north side. The troupe has since performed at countless venues around the world including The Goodman Theatre, The Second City, Steppenwolf, Lollapalooza, ImprovOlympic, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (LA), HERE (NYC) and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Correction. Saw it twice this weekend. It’s actually better a 2nd time. The opening scene is just absolutely kick ass.
I’ve still got to see it again. Everyone that I know that has seen it twice says you get a lot more that time.
