Check this out. How many times have you wanted to tell someone something, but not actually talk to them? Me – all the God-damned time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up the phone to tell someone something real quick – praying against hope that they don’t pick up the phone as a punch in those dreadful 7 digits… Only to get a cheerful “Hello!” on the other end. *Ugh* Another 10 minutes wasted when it could have been a quick 36 second voicemail.

Thank the silicon gods for technology. The good guys over at SlyDial have created the best application ever. It’s simple:

1. Dial 267-SLYDIAL (267-759-3425) from your phone.
2. At the voice prompt, dial the number of your unsuspecting victim.
3. BOOM! Connected right to their voicemail. No need to get into an awkward convo!

So – either break up with your girlfriend, leave the message at the office that you’re running late – who cares. Leave the message without the mess. I’m gonn start leaving VMs like CRAZY.
