The wedding reception sketch ran once. But I have it on tape somewhere. I’ll be showcaseing one-offs, they’re more interesting than the classics.

The joke I remember is the bridesmaid (Bolger in a dress) reading her speech and being loudly corrected by her boyfriend in the audience (me) who enters saying “Blah blah blah…I knew you’d fuck it up.” He then plugged his online copy service.

My favorite part of that sketch was being able to see it because we all were on the stage waiting to enter. Usually you are backstage listening, but this we got to watch right in front of us.

Love this sketch. Love Sandy’s drunken speech – what was he saying? I think he was bitching about Nixon, but that was my take.
