Schulter back when I lived in the hood about some suspicious gang-related activity by my apartment... and the next night there were undercover cops all over the place and they literally cleaned up my block in no time.I'm sure it helped a little that upon entering his office and shaking his hand, the first thing I did was commend him on the beautification of Winnemac Park and he just sat and pointed to the wall across from us, where a gigantic map/blue print of the entire park hung. He went into this story about how he met his wife at that park, and it was his personal quest to make it the best park in the city...I love Gene Schulter! He's first class, all the way!
