Well, the PBR Schadenfreude Rent Party may have come to a close, but our summer stage presence continues through June! We’re playing Theater on the Lake from June 25 – 29th. That’s right, the City of Chicago’s trademark open-air lakeside venue is bringing in Schad to perform the best sketches from our 10-year history. Who knows, we might even host a pre-show cookout. Formed in 1997, Schad began performing sketch comedy on Chicago’s north side. The troupe has since performed at countless venues around the world including The Goodman Theatre, The Second City, Steppenwolf, Lollapalooza, ImprovOlympic, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (LA), HERE (NYC) and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Can I just say after seeing this photo how #$%#&*% homesick I am?
The only lakes around here were built by the Army Corps of Engineers.
I even miss that semi musty fishy odor that permeated the books and throw pillows.
I wonder if there is a Yankee Candle…
