I’m still hung up on the boobs thing. The two productions I saw, the stage manager had boobs. Man boobs, but boobs.

I think you should call the awards “The Schadenfreude Chicago Theater People’s Choice Awards”.

I was gonna say Mrs. Gibb – BUT if I said that, then the presumption was that you weren’t Emily because you aren’t good to look at, and I can’t say that… I mean, that would be soooo mean. So I hedged my bets.

AND YES on the awards. We should start calling around to all the theaters, and seeing if we can get Press Comps to shows. For the record, I refuse to pay for any show in Chicago. Sheila knows enough people that I should be able to see anything I want for free.

Phil & Stephe — you guys will have to split the beer. I was Emily’s Mom. Stephe, I am curious, what about me screams Emily and not George’s Mom?

I think the fact that in one lifetime I played Emily’s Mom AND Lita Ford, should nominate me for a Jeff Award. Or at least a Justin Award.

IDEA!!! SS, this summer, let’s start seeing shows and declaring them “Schadenfreude Recognized”!!! Then we can hold our own awards ceremony at Park West in November!
