So now that we’re living in the future with microwave ovens, fax machines, air phones and T-Mobile Hot Spots, let’s take it a step further and identify Chicago’s local T-Mobile HOTTIE Spots!

Here’s a few to get us started.

Corner Bakery at Lake & LaSalle. Full of freelance corporate hotties. Order coffee around 1pm and grab a booth facing north. Free Internet!

Panera at Kenmore & Clybourn. Always crowded with hotties grabbing dinner after a post-work jog. Peak time: 6.30 pm. Be sure to sit on the south side, facing north, for residual traffic from Jamba Juice. Free Internet!

Einstein Bagels, just south of North & Wells. *HIT AND MISS* but still worth a shot. Sit at a table in the window. DOWNSIDE: Across the street from Zanies and crusty waiters from O’Brien’s. Free Internet!

–SPOT TO AVOID: Byron’s Hot Dogs, corner of Lawrence and Paulina. No hotties and no free Internet. Smells like hot dogs, pepper, and soggy buns sitting in dishwater fluid in the backroom dumpsink. Useful only as a landmark for out of town drivers.
