Saturday Morning Cartoons

One of my all-time favorite cartoons, based on an unimaginative toy line as was the rule during this pre-Cartoon Network heyday. They did Transformers one better and had cars transform into…OTHER cars, and if that wasn’t excitement enough for you, they wore masks and belonged to M.A.S.K. which stood for something. That’s so the brainstorming of fifty year old ad execs.

They did Transformers one better and had cars transform into…OTHER cars, and if that wasn’t excitement enough for you, they wore masks and belonged to M.A.S.K. which stood for something. That’s so the brainstorming of fifty year old ad execs. They fought V.E.N.O.M. which stood for something too. Won’t villains like C.O.B.R.A. learn that acronyms are the downfall of all evil organizations, like the N.A.T.I.O.N.A.L. S.O.C.I.A.L.I.S.T. party. One last thing, when I was a kid, when M.A.S.K. was over, you had to go wait for the bus. To this day I feel like I have to go wait for the bus when I watch it.
