Awesome.

Here’s a gift from me to you. The word “awesome.” I started using it more and more over the last few years. People limit their use of the word “awesome.” Awesome doesn’t indicate good or bad. It just means “…wow.”, and there’s a built-in appreciation for even bad things or terrible things that I find useful, they too can be awesome. I’ve found it a more and more apt word to apply to stranger and stranger things I’ve encountered as my journey continues. For example, last night at 4am on the Venice Bus from Culver City to Downtown L.A., I asked the bus driver if there were any 24hr. buses along the route that went up into Hollywood, and the complete stranger shoots back.

You can take the Vermont Bus, the 204 runs all night to run the Mexicans and the Blacks back and forth. What are they going to do but ride the bus all night?

Venice Bus. 4am. L.A. Complete stranger. That response.

Awesome.
