The Death of Blogging!

I read an article in RedEye the other day about the death of blogging. People don’t care anymore about reading people’s diaries. They said something like 200 million blogs have disappeared. They also checked out a role call of Chicago blogs and 44 percent were no longer being updated. Do you think that it’s a coincidence that the housing market has gone down? Hmmm, why do we never see those two stories in the same place? Maybe we are onto something. It also says in the article that no one that is cool uses e-mail anymore. They all use IM. So is the new luddite the one who has an e-mail account and uses wordpress? I wonder if the Amish use e-mail? I wonder if old grandpas use blogger.com. I wonder what Regis uses?
