It’s Gone Already?

It’s over? That quick? That’s bullshit. The Schadenfreude Cover Set #1 went off with fireworks Sunday night. If you were there, thanks for coming out. If you weren’t, you can come out to the Gall Cab on May 18th. Great performances, great music and great catch-up with friends. I always look at the Chicago Improv Festival as the ultimate comedy convention. People come in from out of town, they do shows and classes, but the real reason they are here is to catch up with old buddies from the business. Shit, it is even a great opportunity to catch up with those in Chicago. And even though everyone left before and during Tributosaurus, I was blown away by their set. They are so god damn good. But comedians like to talk to other comedians about other comedians and the band was too loud. So they went down to another bar.

It was funny though that the people who stuck around were Schad, Chidester (Hot Karl) and the Annoyance (Joe Bill/Mark Sutton). Maybe the old-schoolers in town are done talking about comedy. And we just want to jam out to the Kinks.

Well, the convention is over. Back to the grind right? Good times had by all. We have to do another cover set. So many sketches came up and were put on the back burner. I hope soon.
