Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

Did I just see Imus on the cover of Time magazine? You’re kidding right? This is that big a story? What was it? Two weeks ago? Maybe I’m a little pissed because this is the two weeks my friends and I usually reserve to celebrate, talk about, and be interested in Women’s basketball, and now we simply can’t enjoy it. I don’t get why everyone’s enjoying this so much. Shouldn’t RELEVANCY be a determining factor in how much press someone gets for saying “nappy-headed ho” He’s simply not relevant, it shouldn’t matter what he says, the cover of Time???? And the cover story is that usual annoying Time cover story, something like “What is safe to say?” or “Can any of us speak anymore?.” Something indicating an increase in American frustration at having a conversation now that the phrase “nappy headed ho” can no longer be used.

All I know about Imus anyway is from listening to Howard Stern for a decade, and for those without Sirius, I’ve never heard Howard enjoy anything more than watching the dick who made their lives hell back at WNBC take a big big tumble.
