I Read The News So You Don’t Have To

So I’ve been paying a little attention (C+ attention) to the Cook County Board President. You remember Lil’ Stroger? Stroge is spoken here? Beef Strogenoff? Anyway, he is hiring his cousin to be another PR person. But the rub is that this is the third or so person he’s hired to do PR that doesn’t involve talking to the media. It’s all about internal messaging. And he put her name on an office (like old school detectives?), but I guess he can’t give her the job until it is approved by the board. Oops. Later in the day they removed it. He also gave an old staffer her job back after she got cut for not being needed and extremely overpaid. She got the corner office and displaced some people and now they are pissed. Her name is Chinta. Cool name. Who cares. Boring. I gotta get a life. I watched a whole thing on Channel 11 last night about black women and their hair. It was fascinating, culturally stimulating, enlightening and extremely dull – all wrapped into one. Who remembers when I used to party on a Thursday night? And don’t be a dick and use this as an excuse to remind me that I truly don’t party anymore.
