Check it out!

Too Much For TV has shown up on Barnes & Noble’s website. I generically put what I do all under the label of Girls Gone Wild but most of the editing I do is for this. Basically it’s a “Best Of Pay-Per-View”. Motel porn. I did not edit Episode 1, which is what you see here, but edited most of Episodes 2, 3, and as-of-yesterday, 4. This has been the coolest thing to happen here. This big company with a cable/PPV distribution network greenlit the show in association with Mantra who handles the DVD distribution for GGW. The concept was repurposing PPV material. I mean, thos girls took their clothes off for good money, why let it air just once?

Things get more interesting for TMFTV when Nancy (my boss, tv producer, 15 years) is asked to produce. Nancy was in the comedy scene in Chicago, Second City, Groundlings, the whole pedigree. She hires her friend Scott Potasnik to host, he’s a comedian. Then I am asked to edit, I’ve only ever edited comedy. The show turns out pretty funny. Scott grabs whacko’s on Hollywood & Highland at 9pm on Hollywood and Highland and asks them about the sexual topic dujour (basically any common theme we can find amongst the PPV clips we’re sent, for example, a lot of breasts were noticed in the first batch). You get husbands and wives embarrassed to explain sexual positions, prudish people who won’t answer and many many characters who are completely unafraid to explain how they fuck. So, hey, check it, out I move to L.A. and six month later, shit I’ve worked on is airing on E!, PPV, and BarnesandNoble.com. Not bad for a kid who used to dress up like a Ninja and throw shit at my classmates entering the sock hop.
