Can you believe Ghost Rider has made $150 million in two weeks? It’s the number 24 highest grossing Comic Book movie. I mean, to have a Ghost Rider movie made was pure joy, but it’s risky, people are waiting for the bottom to drop out of Superhero movies and a Ghost Rider failure could mean no Flash movie or Wonder Woman or something else in developement. In fact Joss Whedon was recently fired from Wonder Woman (how can the creator of Buffy and the writer of X-Men get kicked off of WW?) and David Goyer, who wrote Blade I, II, III, and Batman Begins was fired from The Flash (what? maybe they saw his directing in Blade III. Then again, it looks like the riskiest Comic movie, The Watchmen is finally going into production off of the success of the just the test audiences of 300. But, if stupid friggin obscure Ghost Rider can get made…then I better get crackin’ on my Moon Knight Screenplay.

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention about Zodiac. It was the first movie ever to be shot digitally straight to harddrives. No film, no tapes. Also, I learned at the Q&A afterwards, the entire movie was rendered on Mac Mini’s.
