The Return to The Grindhouse!

Holy Shit is The Grindhouse the best thing about L.A.! I missed a couple months of Grindhouse screenings and then ran into the guy that edits the trailers for the screenings, Adam Trash, who’s last name sounds as fake as my own. He was at a party thrown by Jonathan Buchanan, friend to Schad Video Pals, Chad & Ryan. Check out Ryan’s digital effects prowess here, or check out Sandy and Kate in Chicken Cargo here…

But I didn’t come here to talk about Chad and Ryan, I came here to talk about Rudy Ray Muthafuckin’ Moore!

Tuesday The Grindhouse held a screening of Black Shampoo and Human Tornado. On hand to answer questions were Graydon Clark, The Director of Black Shampoo and one of the stars of Black Shampoo, Skip E. Low, who very old and very gay and evidently has a Tuesday Night showcase at some bar that I won’t miss out on. And of course Rudy Ray “Dolemite” Moore was present to answer any questions on Dolemite II: The Human Tornado

It’s amazing to see these movies with a willing, energetic, and excited crowd. The people who put these shows on put them on with a lot of love. These movies are so great and meant to be seen with a crowd, can’t wait until the next one. For thos of you who are unfortunately missing out onGrindhouse Tuesday nights, soon you will be able to experience a simulation of Grindhouse Night at The New Beverly in L.A., courtesty of Quentin Tarantino and Rober Rodriguez.
