Ghost Rider Day: In 3-D!

This came out at the height of my Superhero love as a kid. I had heard it would be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and it was the first and last time I watched that stupid thing. I hate parades, because parades suck. BUT THIS DIDN’T.

More rambling about why this clip rocks, plus THOR after the jump, a phrase I like as much as parades.

When you’re a Live-Action Superhero fan as I am, the goal is to see everyone of them in live form, every character in the Marvel and DC universe for real, no matter how shitty they look. This parade is just a bunch of people dressed in costumes, this Wolverine is no Hugh Jackman, but hey, at the time I’d never seen Wolverine in life, so it was cool. In the parade you can also see Silver Surfer and Iron Man, first appearances for both but not the last if you know anything about the next two summers. This was the second appearance of Daredevil, who made his firs appearance inTrial Of The Incredible Hulk, sure he looked like the gentleman to the left, but still…Daredevil, FOR REAL. Ditto with Thor.

And Dr. Strange.

So, Ghost Rider…he didn’t even make into the Macy’s parade. But now, Ghost Rider…for real. That’s so cool.
